About the position
Home Instead is seeking compassionate Caregivers, referred to as 'Care Professionals', to join their team and support their mission of enhancing the capacity to care for aging adults. The role involves providing non-medical services that enable seniors to live independently in their homes while addressing the challenges of aging with dignity and compassion.
Responsibilities
- Companionship and conversation
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Assisting with grooming, bathing, toileting, and incontinence issues
- Caring for clients with Alzheimer's
Requirements
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
- Possess reliable transportation and the ability to be on time to assigned shifts
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly, professional, and respectful manner
