About the position
Griswold Home Care is seeking compassionate and motivated caregivers to provide non-medical care to clients in their homes in Union County, NJ. The role involves assisting seniors with daily activities to help them maintain their independence and quality of life. Caregivers will work flexible hours, providing care that can range from a couple of hours to 24-hour support, depending on client needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide non-medical care to clients in their homes.
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Remind clients to take their medications.
- Help with laundry and meal preparation.
- Run errands for clients as needed.
- Communicate regularly with the office and RN supervisor about client needs and conditions.
Requirements
- Must be HHA certified.
- Ability to provide two healthcare references and two personal references.
- 2+ years of home care experience preferred, but willing to train.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience caring for a loved one counts as home care experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Dependability and punctuality.
