About the position
The Caregiver position at Companions & Homemakers involves providing in-home care to seniors, ensuring their health, safety, and happiness while promoting their independence. Caregivers will implement customized care plans and deliver compassionate support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional care to clients in their homes.
- Execute comprehensive personalized weekly schedules and care plans.
- Complete daily tasks in a safe and professional manner (ADLs).
- Provide personal companionship and ongoing social & emotional support.
- Assist with personal care activities including hygiene, mobility, incontinence care, light housekeeping, feeding, and meal preparation.
- Ensure order, safety, and client enjoyment at all times.
- Provide transportation to and from appointments as needed.
- Document completion of tasks and report changes in the client's condition.
Requirements
- Valid CNA license or equivalent certification.
- Experience in care plans and personal care assistance.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with memory care and Hoyer lifts.
- Flexibility in scheduling and availability.
