Amada Senior Care is seeking compassionate Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) to provide essential care and support to seniors in Rockaway, NJ, and surrounding areas. This role focuses on enhancing the quality of life for clients through companionship, assistance with daily activities, and personal care. Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks.
- Provide transportation for appointments and errands.
- Assist with personal care needs such as bathing and grooming.
- Prepare meals and offer medication reminders.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- 1 year of caregiving experience in a private or professional setting.
- Active Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license in New Jersey.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and proof of insurance.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with dementia or Alzheimer's care.
- TB/Physical within one year.
- Valid CPR (Basic Life Support) certification.
