About the position

InBloom Home Care is seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to join their Care Team. The role involves providing essential support and care to individuals in their homes, ensuring their well-being and comfort. Caregivers will assist clients with daily living activities, promote a safe environment, and engage them in social activities to enhance their mental well-being.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Assist clients with mobility and physical activities to enhance their independence.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as necessary.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients with light housekeeping.
• Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
• Document care provided and any observations regarding the client's health condition.
• Enhance morale by promoting independence.
• Provide companionship and friendship.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months experience in a home care setting.
• Bilingual communication skills are encouraged.
• Home Care Aide Certification or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work 20-40 hours per week.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and insurance.
• Must pass a state and federal live scan fingerprinting criminal background check.
• Current TB Test.
• Experience working with individuals with dementia and cognitive decline.

Nice-to-haves

• CNA or HHA certification encouraged to apply.
• Basic English skills (verbal, written).
