About the position
Southland Assisted Living is seeking compassionate Caregivers to join our team at our 70-bed Assisted Living Facility in Norwalk, CA. The role involves providing excellent clinical and home-like experiences for our residents while ensuring a supportive work environment for employees. Caregivers will work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, and nights, and will receive comprehensive on-the-job training and mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance to residents in daily activities.
- Monitor and record vital signs and health status of residents.
- Assist with medication management as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance caregiving skills.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to patients.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment.
