About the position
Full Circle Home Care is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide support to youth in the Baltimore, MD area. The role involves assisting clients with daily tasks, providing emotional support, and ensuring their dignity and independence. Caregivers will work flexible shifts, including day, night, and PRN opportunities, and will be a valued part of a team dedicated to making a difference in the community.
Responsibilities
- Providing support to clients during therapy sessions, including keeping time and taking notes.
- Assisting clients with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administering basic health care services, including changing bandages and administering medication.
- Observing clients' behaviors and reporting concerns to the therapist.
- Participating in group therapy sessions and leading discussions as needed.
- Assessing clients' mental health needs and developing treatment plans with their input.
- Communicating with clients' families and other community members involved in their care.
- Providing emotional support and companionship to clients.
Requirements
- 1 year of caregiving experience required.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Availability for flexible shifts including day and night shifts.
