About the position
Generations Home Care is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide home care services to clients in the Belfair area and Kitsap County. The role is part-time and offers flexible scheduling, with opportunities for growth and development within the company. Caregivers will assist clients with daily activities and ensure their safety and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities, such as grooming, bathing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry
- Assist with medical appointments and other activities that require accompaniment
- Assist with mobility, transportation, and errands
- Adhere to safety procedures and medical protocols
- Monitor clients' medication intake and report any irregularities
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Provide emotional support to clients and their families
Requirements
- CNA/HCA certification or ability to earn one within 200 days of hire
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to lift greater than 25 pounds
- Manage app based technology for care plan and clocking in and out
- Ability to follow care plan instructions and adhere to medical protocols
- Must be able to pass a background check
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Relationship development with clients and families
