About the position

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting their independence.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including lifting clients safely when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to healthcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality.
• Support clients with home health tasks, including light housekeeping and laundry.
• Engage clients in social activities and encourage participation in hobbies or interests.

Requirements

• CPR Certification
• First Aid Certification
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality
• Experience in home health or senior care settings is preferred
• Ability to work effectively with individuals on the autism spectrum or other special needs
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with clients, families, and healthcare teams
• Physical capability to lift clients safely and assist with mobility needs
• A compassionate demeanor combined with patience and understanding towards client needs.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in home health or senior care settings is preferred
• First Aid and CPR certification is advantageous.
