About the position
The position involves providing personal care assistance to clients in their homes, focusing on daily living activities and fostering long-term relationships. Caregivers will work one-on-one with clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being while receiving support from a dedicated healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Assist client with daily living activities.
- Engage clients in memory activities and light housekeeping.
- Take clients on outings and go for walks.
- Run errands, prepare meals, and do laundry as needed.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a caregiver.
- Experience using a hoyer lift.
- Valid driver's license and insurance.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Excellent references from past employers and supervisors.
Nice-to-haves
- Past experience as a live-in caregiver (at least 2 years).
- A passion for the job and helping others.
- A reliable car.
