About the position

PathWays of the River Valley is seeking compassionate and dedicated Residential Support Professionals (RSP) to provide care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in residential homes located in Claremont, Newport, and Unity, NH. The role involves working closely with the same individuals daily, allowing caregivers to build relationships, monitor progress, and address any concerns. The position is designed to create a supportive, challenging, and rewarding work environment, where caregivers can make a significant impact on the lives of those they serve.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support for individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges in a residential setting.
• Assist individuals with daily living skills, safety, communication, community integration, and social skills.
• Support individuals with bathing, meals, activities, toileting, and mobility as per their needs.
• Complete household tasks such as laundry, sweeping, and meal preparation.
• Help individuals achieve their personal goals by being a strong advocate and team player.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with residents, families, and team members.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
