About the position
Caring People Home Healthcare is seeking compassionate caregivers and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide homecare assistance to elderly clients. This role offers flexible scheduling with opportunities for both part-time and full-time positions, catering to the needs of clients in their homes or senior living facilities. The position emphasizes the importance of companionship, safety, and direct care, ensuring that caregivers can make a meaningful impact in the lives of their clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to clients in their home or senior living facility according to the established plan of care.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, escort clients to appointments, prepare meals, and remind clients to take their medications.
- Offer companionship and ensure the safety of clients.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience working with the elderly.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (if applicable).
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication with the office regarding patient needs.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a homecare or senior living setting.
- Current CNA certificate (if applicable).
- Negative COVID test and COVID vaccination (if applicable).
