About the position

ApexCare is seeking dedicated caregivers to provide one-on-one support to seniors in their homes. The role emphasizes compassion and experience in caregiving, with a focus on maintaining a clean and healthy work environment. Caregivers will enjoy flexible scheduling and comprehensive training, including CEUs for certified professionals. This part-time position offers competitive pay and the opportunity to work within a 20-25 mile radius of your home.

Responsibilities

• Personal care including toileting, bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Alzheimer's and dementia care
• Personal mobility and ambulation assistance
• Light housekeeping
• Meal preparation, cooking, and assistance with eating
• Transportation assistance for errands and appointments
• Companionship and communication with family and office

Requirements

• Tb Test less than a year old or will need a new one
• Current driver's license
• Reliable and insured automobile
• Ability to pass a background check through DOJ and FBI going back to your 18th birthday
• Effective English communication skills (Bilingual a plus!)
• At least one-year professional caregiving experience (Preferred)
