About The Position
The Byrne-Milliron Caretaker is responsible for the day-to-day management and maintenance of the 400-acre Byrne-Milliron Forest, ensuring a positive experience for visitors while preserving the natural environment. This part-time position requires the caretaker to live on-site in a provided rental home, allowing for a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in the forest's beauty and tranquility. The role involves collaboration with the Stewardship Manager and the Stewardship Team, focusing on visitor engagement, maintenance of trails and facilities, and overall stewardship of the land.
