About the position
Nevada Gold Mines is looking for an experienced Process Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on processing facilities at the Gold Quarry Mine Site. The role emphasizes safety and teamwork, contributing to the achievement of production goals in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair and rebuild processing equipment, including crushers, conveyor systems, hydraulic systems, pumps, and motors.
- Replace and align belts, motors, pulleys, and conveyor rollers.
- Perform various types of welding and other maintenance associated with processing facilities.
Requirements
- Three (3) or more years of process facilities maintenance experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read, write, and possess basic math skills.
- Proven excellent safety and attendance record.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
