About the position
Reborn Cabinets is seeking motivated individuals for the position of Carpenter Apprentice in our kitchen remodeling division. This role is designed for those who are eager to learn the craft of finish carpentry, including cabinet installation and our unique refacing process. As an apprentice, you will undergo a comprehensive training program at Reborn University for up to three weeks, where you will gain essential skills and knowledge necessary for the job. Following your training, you will be paired with an experienced installation team, where you will continue to learn and develop your skills in a hands-on environment. Our goal is to help you progress to a journeyman level within a year, providing you with opportunities for rapid advancement in both pay and experience. To excel in this position, you must possess a keen attention to detail, the ability to read a tape measure accurately, and a strong aptitude for working with your hands. The role requires a high standard of integrity and professionalism, as well as a customer service-oriented mindset. Responsibilities
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Assist journeyman installer in installing new cabinets and signature refacing
- Be willing to learn!
Requirements
- 3-6 months of experience in carpentry or related field
- Must be able to pass a hands-on mechanical aptitude test
- Attention to detail
- High standard of integrity and professionalism
- Must be customer service driven
- Must be able to pass a background screening
- Must have a valid driver's license with valid vehicle insurance
- Must be in good physical condition with no limits on bending, stooping, walking, standing, and ability to lift up to 75-100lbs
