About the position

The Carpenter Apprentice position is an entry-level role within a family-owned residential and commercial roofing contractor. The apprentice will assist in various carpentry tasks, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and contributing to timely project completion. This role offers an opportunity to learn and grow within the carpentry field while working closely with a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, shape, and install materials.
• Ensure compliance with company safety guidelines and governmental regulations.
• Perform repairs and maintenance as needed.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure timely project completion.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings.

Requirements

• Must have necessary tools based on position.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Valid WA state driver's license (in good standing) is a plus.
• Knowledge of carpentry techniques, methods, and tools.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in woodworking.
• Valid OSHA 10 certification.
