About the position

The Framing and Drywall Foreman is responsible for overseeing the layout and construction of framing and drywall installations on large industrial projects, particularly within military bases. This role involves managing a crew of installers to ensure that all work is completed according to project specifications while adhering to safety practices and RQ Construction's mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the layout and construction of framing and drywall installations.
• Manage a crew of framing and drywall installers.
• Ensure all work is completed within the scope of the project.
• Implement required safety practices during construction activities.
• Coordinate scheduling and ordering of materials for projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred; college/trade school courses in construction management preferred.
• Two or more years of experience in a Framing/Drywall Foreman position.
• Five or more years of field trade work in construction, preferably drywall.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Internet.
• CPR and First Aid Certification required; OSHA 30-hour Certification and EM-385 preferred.

• Bilingual in Spanish and English is desirable.
