About the position
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a passion for construction, with experience in various carpentry and labor tasks. This role involves working on diverse projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform construction tasks including framing, drywall installation, and trim carpentry.
- Execute masonry work as required for various projects.
- Handle heavy lifting and assist in the installation of structures and fixtures.
- Conduct tile laying for flooring and wall applications.
- Assist with roofing tasks, ensuring proper installation and maintenance.
- Plumb and plaster surfaces to achieve desired finishes.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction painting, trim carpentry, masonry, drywall installation, heavy lifting, installation tasks, tile laying, roofing, plumbing, and plastering is highly desirable.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.
- A valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.
