Carpenter/Laborer

About the position

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. This role involves working on various construction projects, utilizing your expertise in carpentry and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience with power tools, installation, and restoration work, as well as a strong understanding of construction site safety and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry tasks including building, assembling, and installing structures and fixtures.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various construction projects.
• Apply caulking and other finishing touches to ensure quality workmanship.
• Collaborate with team members on construction site tasks to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols while on the construction site.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a carpenter or laborer in the construction industry.
• Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and construction techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.

• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for carpentry work
• Experience in construction projects, including framing and trim carpentry
• Knowledge of concrete forming, plastering, and fabrication techniques
