Responsibilities

  • Maintain doors and locking systems.
  • Repair, maintain, construct walls, ceilings, floors, furniture/cabinetry, concrete, as well as the building envelope.
  • Consult with supervisor concerning ideas and techniques for completing or improving assigned tasks.
  • Maintain a clean vehicle.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • Evaluate and make recommendations on bids and vendor pricing, maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Push snow when required.
  • Work as a team with all facilities personnel.
  • Arrive on time for work, attend work regularly, and successfully perform the responsibilities of the position.
  • Work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.
  • Comply with HutchCC policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Serve actively on campus committees.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Facilities or Coordinators within Facilities department.

Requirements
