About the position
Aerotek is seeking full-time, year-round rough and finish carpenters to join their team in Decorah, Iowa. The role involves working on various carpentry projects throughout the greater Madison and Dane County area, focusing on both rough and finish carpentry tasks. Successful candidates will be responsible for installing cabinets, windows, doors, trim, and other fixtures, as well as framing with different materials.
Responsibilities
- Hanging, setting, and installing cabinets, windows, doors, trim, baseboards, hardware, and various molding for finish carpenters.
- Framing with wood, steel stud, or pre-fab walls for rough carpenters.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-5 years of professional rough or finish carpentry experience.
- Possession of hand tools and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Strong awareness and pride in workmanship.
- Good communication skills, reliability, accountability, and a strong work ethic.
- Reliable transportation to work daily.
