As a union contractor, we prioritize hiring through local union halls, ensuring that our workforce is composed of highly trained and experienced craft workers. The Bridge Carpenter classification encompasses various roles, including Apprentice, Journeyman, Foreman, and General Foreman, all of which are essential for the construction of bridges and related structures. The primary responsibilities of a Bridge Carpenter include constructing, repairing, and installing building frameworks and structures made from wood and other materials. This role also involves constructing, erecting, repairing, and dismantling built-in-place or prefabricated forms for concrete structures. In addition to the hands-on carpentry work, the Carpenter Foreman will have supervisory responsibilities, coordinating and scheduling a crew of eight or more carpenters.
