About the position

As a Carpentry/Construction Trainee, you will play a crucial role in this mission by delivering exceptional shower installation and bath remodeling experiences to our customers. In this position, you will report directly to the Installation Manager and collaborate closely with Lead Installers, Trainers, and Warehouse/Operations professionals. Your day will typically begin at our warehouse at 6:30 AM, where you will gather materials and load company trucks before heading to customer homes. Your responsibilities will include controlled demolition of existing bathtub or shower areas, installation of new fixtures, and ensuring that the work area is left clean and tidy. Attention to detail is paramount, as you will be responsible for obtaining necessary signed documents and payments from customers before returning to the warehouse. Responsibilities
- Meet at the warehouse at 6:30 AM to gather materials and load company trucks.
- Drive to customer homes and establish rapport with clients.
- Complete controlled demolition of the bathtub/shower area.
- Install new bathtub/shower pan and acrylic wall surround, updating plumbing as needed.
- Show extreme attention to detail and care for the customer's home by properly cleaning up after installation.
- Obtain necessary signed documents and payment from customers before returning to the warehouse.
Requirements
- Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, or construction, or a strong desire to learn.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Must have a valid smartphone or smart device for logging into company systems using two-factor authentication.
