About the position

Total Communications is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to join our Carrier Services division. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth by acquiring new business and managing client relationships. The Account Executive will be responsible for building a robust sales funnel through proactive prospecting, cold calling, and meeting with potential clients to provide expert advice on telecom and data network carrier options that align with their specific needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the telecommunications landscape and be able to effectively communicate the value of our offerings to clients. In this position, the Account Executive will consistently develop and maintain a pipeline of leads and qualified prospects, aiming to achieve monthly quota goals. This involves not only selling Total Communications' key carrier service solutions from our strategic partners, including Comcast, Windstream, Ring Central, Frontier, Cox, AT&T, and 8×8, but also ensuring a seamless account management process. The Account Executive will supervise all phases of the sales cycle, from initial contact through installation and integration of client-centric solutions, ensuring that customer expectations are met and exceeded. The role requires a self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to win business through effective communication and relationship-building. The Account Executive will also be responsible for maintaining accurate account creation, revenue forecasting, and qualification in our CRM system, ensuring that all relevant information is updated as needed. This position is ideal for someone who is strategic, analytical, and possesses strong negotiation skills, with a proven track record of success in sales and account management.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, cold call and meet with clients to sell Total Communications' key carrier service solutions from strategic partners.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of leads and qualified prospects to achieve monthly quota goals.
  • Effectively communicate and demonstrate the features and values of our offerings.
  • Close deals and manage the account management process throughout the sales cycle.
  • Manage customer relationships, expectations, and concerns regarding products and services.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales goals and create additional revenue opportunities.
  • Develop relationships with end-users and generate meaningful sales.
  • Maintain accurate account creation, revenue forecasting, and qualification in CRM.

Requirements

  • Three or more years of sales and major accounts experience with a proven track record as a top performer.
  • Self-motivated hunter who thrives on daily numbers and is eager to win business.
  • Ability to sell network services and goods requiring technical knowledge.
  • Proven experience providing client-centric solutions to large clients.
  • Aptitude for identifying creative solutions to complex issues.
  • Expertise in network building, negotiation, critical thinking, and issue resolution skills.
  • Experience with solution-based or value-based selling.
