About the position

As a Cart Attendant at Walmart, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that customers have a positive experience from the moment they arrive at our store. Your primary responsibilities will include gathering shopping carts from the parking lot and transporting them into the store using specialized equipment. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the shopping carts, ensuring they are ready for customer use at all times. This position requires a positive attitude and the ability to work in various weather conditions, as you will be outdoors for a significant portion of your shift. Your efforts will contribute to creating a welcoming environment for our customers, making their shopping experience enjoyable and efficient.

Responsibilities

  • Gather shopping carts from the parking lot and return them to the store.
  • Operate equipment to move carts from the parking lot to inside the store.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of shopping carts.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Work in various weather conditions while performing duties.

Requirements

  • Ability to work part-time hours, including mid-shift and closing shifts.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Basic understanding of customer service principles.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a retail environment is preferred but not mandatory.
