About the position

Our client, a pioneer in autonomous mobility, is seeking a Cartographer to join their Cartography team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, an eye for detail, and a drive for correctness which will align successfully in the organization. As a Cartographer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the client's semantic road network data. This involves validating the road network against the real world to ensure correctness and meeting defined content requirements for validity. You will work cross-functionally with operations and development teams to troubleshoot and root-cause issues reported to the road network team. Additionally, you will organize on-vehicle validation tests to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the road network data.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain the client's semantic road network data.
• Validate road network against the real world for correctness and defined content requirements for validity.
• Work cross-functionally with operations and development teams.
• Troubleshoot and root-cause issues reported to the road network team.
• Organize on-vehicle validation tests.

Requirements

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in mapping or map content validation (BONUS).
• Understanding of GIS systems and data (BONUS).
