About the position

The Cartographic Production Specialist at Geo Owl is responsible for supporting geospatial intelligence and imagery analysis efforts. This role requires a strong background in geospatial methodologies, data extraction, and quality control processes, particularly using software such as ArcMap and ArcGIS Pro. The specialist will contribute to the creation and maintenance of geospatial data products, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in support of various operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform data extraction and imagery analysis using ArcMap/ArcGIS Pro.
• Complete timely and accurate foundation data reviews.
• Conduct foundation data quality control and quality assurance analysis using GAIT/QAC software.
• Create shapefiles, geo-databases, and features as required.
• Utilize geospatial analysis software suites to accomplish mission objectives.
• Support crisis operations and geospatial Digital Twin initiatives.
• Implement Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) techniques in data extraction.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) and Imagery Intelligence (IMINT).
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Experience with ArcMap/ArcGIS Pro and GAIT/QAC software.
• Expertise in creating shapefiles and geo-databases.
• Knowledge of GIS commercial software packages such as ERDAS & SocetSet.
• Proficiency with Technical Reference Document TRDv.4.x and UTRDV.1.x.
• Experience with data extraction in support of crisis operations.

Nice-to-haves

• A relevant bachelor's degree with 6-8 years of experience or a relevant master's degree with 2-6 years of experience.
