About the position

The CAS Disability Assessment Coordinator is responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate the care needs of adults with disabilities. This full-time role is primarily remote, requiring flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends. The position demands strong analytical and communication skills, along with a background in human services.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments to determine the level of care needs for adults with disabilities.
  • Work collaboratively with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
  • Utilize analytical skills to evaluate assessment results and make informed recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of assessments and care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members regarding assessment findings and care options.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field.
  • Minimum of one year of experience conducting assessments with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret assessment data.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including navigating between screens and familiarity with spreadsheet and database software, Email, and Word.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with a diverse population of individuals with disabilities.
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding disability services.
