Responsibilities

• Review and process claims in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Analyze medical documentation, coding, and terminology to determine claim validity
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date claim files and medical records
• Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure accurate claim assessments
• Provide clerical support for claims processing

Requirements

• Prior experience in claims processing or related fields preferred
• Proficiency in medical terminology and medical records management
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Knowledge of claims assessment
• Understanding of workers' compensation law is a plus
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Strong written and oral communication skills; bilingual in Spanish preferred
• Ability to interact with a variety of people including physicians, staff, patients, and the public
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to problem solve, work under pressure with frequent interruptions and meet deadlines
