About the position
T.G. Lee Dairy is seeking adaptable general laborers for an immediate opening as a Case Dock Laborer on the 3rd shift in Orlando, Florida. This role involves performing a variety of all-purpose duties essential to the operation of the plant or warehouse. Responsibilities include unloading materials and ingredients, transferring and storing both raw and finished products, and operating onsite equipment and machinery safely. General laborers are expected to adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and maintain effective communication with all departments to ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities
- Unload materials and ingredients for plant or warehouse use.
- Transfer and store raw and finished products.
- Operate onsite equipment and machinery in a safe manner.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Communicate effectively with all departments.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to legibly write entries for record keeping.
- Ability to use company computer systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
