About the position
The Case Management Attorney will manage multiple mass tort dockets, lead the case management team, and drive strategic initiatives to ensure effective handling of mass tort claims from inception to resolution. This role is crucial in promoting a positive team culture and mentoring junior attorneys and support staff while collaborating with leadership to enhance case strategies.
Responsibilities
- Oversee lifecycle of mass tort cases.
- Promote a positive team culture by mentoring and encouraging junior attorneys and support staff.
- Collaborate with leadership to establish and implement case strategies or identify processes in need of enhancement.
- Conduct legal research to support case or practice area development.
Requirements
- 3+ years of litigation experience from a medium to large size firm in the field of plaintiffs' mass torts.
- Experience managing a staff of paralegals and/or legal assistants.
- Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task.
- Ability to learn quickly and function in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative problem-solver, takes initiative, and can accomplish tasks with minimal supervision.
- A team player with a great attitude.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, LexisXpress File & Serve, LexisAdvance or Lexis.com, ECF/Pacer, Needles/Neos.
