About the position

The Case Management Specialist - Early Intervention at Developmental Pathways Inc. is responsible for providing professional-level administrative support within the Early Intervention Department. This role involves developing and maintaining organizational systems, supporting case managers, and ensuring effective communication and confidentiality with persons served. The position is hybrid, allowing for both remote and in-person work, and requires strong organizational, collaboration, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional-level administrative support to various roles and work processes within the Early Intervention Department.
  • Develop and maintain systems of organization, distribution, and communication for case management processes.
  • Assist case managers by implementing and maintaining efficient processes and operations across departments.
  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with persons served, supervisors, staff, and external agencies while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Review and oversee case documentation of all annual Service Plans (SPs) and revisions to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.
  • Enter accurate documentation into the state-held billing system for service providers.
  • Manage service plan and billing data for service providers, ensuring timely entry and distribution of written SPs and addendums.
  • Research participants' service utilization and Medicaid coverage, providing administrative support for waiver enrollments.
  • Maintain tracking documents and generate database reports related to intake, transfers, or terminations.
  • Support data analysis by ensuring data integrity and maintenance.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree in business preferred.
  • Three years of administrative support or customer service experience required.
  • Experience in human services or nonprofit fields is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing and Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with case management systems and billing processes.
  • Familiarity with Medicaid enrollment procedures.
