About the position

The Case Management Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the Howard County Care Coordination Program, ensuring that evaluation services for families and children are provided in a compliant and ethically responsible manner. This full-time position involves supervising Care Coordinators, maintaining service quality, and fostering inter-agency relationships to enhance referral activity. The role requires a commitment to staff training and performance evaluation, as well as direct client advocacy and resource provision.

Responsibilities

  • Nurture inter-agency relationships to increase referral activity, including the core service agency.
  • Ensure team productivity requirements are maintained, time sheets are accurate, and all company policies are followed.
  • Conduct trainings, performance evaluations and disciplinary actions/processes.
  • Ensure all staff receive weekly supervision and training as directed by COMAR.
  • Collect and submit program data to Coordinator of Community Support Programs including quarterly statistics and outcome measures such as Family Satisfaction, and Client Satisfaction Surveys.
  • Maintain knowledge and skills by completing a minimum of 40 hours of training in case management or topics related to client care/self care.
  • Maintain an active case load of 4-6 clients per month as needed and meet all care coordination criteria to provide resources and advocate for clients.

Requirements

  • Masters Level Licensure in the state of Maryland (LGSW, LGPC, LCSW, LCPC)
  • Understanding of cultural diversity.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations.
  • Ability to observe and accurately report the functioning of children and families.
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.
  • Successfully complete State and Federal background investigation and drug test.
