About the position

The Case Manager for the Frontera Program in Laredo, TX, is responsible for providing assertive case management to clients with mental health disorders or co-occurring disorders, particularly those living with or at risk of HIV and/or Hepatitis. This role involves assisting clients in accessing necessary services, advocating for their needs, and enhancing community awareness regarding mental health and related issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide an assertive case-management approach to identified needs of clients.
• Assist clients with transportation and scheduling of appointments.
• Help participants attend appointments and advocate for their needs.
• Assist clients in accessing public benefits.
• Enhance community awareness regarding mental health and related issues.
• Administer HIV/HEP C testing services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology or behavioral sciences.
• Bilingual (fluent in English and Spanish) is required.
• Ability to transport clients in own vehicle, compensated for mileage.
• Reliable transportation, proof of insurance, and valid driver's license are required.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
