About the position

The Case Manager I for the Hope Program at Springs Rescue Mission plays a crucial role in advocating for clients and guiding them through the program aimed at achieving self-sufficiency in health, work, and housing. This position requires a personal commitment to the mission's values and a collaborative approach to provide comprehensive support to clients, ensuring they adhere to program guidelines and track their progress effectively.

Responsibilities

• Follow Hope Program Case Management policies and procedures.
• Ensure all clients are following Hope Program guidelines.
• Communicate with SRM program staff to provide complete wrap-around services for clients.
• Hold clients supportively accountable toward progress in Health, Work, and Housing through the Hope Program.
• Track client progress through each phase to ensure clients meet phase timelines.
• Maintain an acceptable caseload based on Hope Program guidelines.
• Attend wrap-around service meetings to discuss the progress of clients in the Hope Program.
• Capture relevant notes and updates to cases in a consistent, accurate, and timely manner.
• Support proper training and recognition of volunteers for their partnership with Springs Rescue Mission.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar environment preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working within a Christian recovery environment desired.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for a minimum of 3 years.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with clients undergoing trauma, addictions, physical and mental challenges, and homelessness.
• Basic knowledge of the community of Colorado Springs and resources involved with homelessness and low-income individuals.
• Experience with case management concepts.
