About the position

The Case Manager II position at Diakon focuses on providing essential casework and supportive services to children in foster care, particularly those who are unaccompanied minors. Responsibilities

• Provide casework and supportive services to children in foster care.
• Facilitate integration into the local community for unaccompanied children.
• Support access to education, legal, medical, and dental services for unaccompanied children.
• Assist with family sponsorship applications as needed.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure case continuity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in social service or a related field from an accredited college required.
• Master's degree in Social Services or related field preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience in child welfare/care management strongly preferred.
• Prior experience working with refugee and/or immigrant populations preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
