About the position

The Case Manager for the Life Launch Growth Opportunities Program at Goodwill Industries is responsible for providing workforce development services to justice-involved youth and young adults aged 18-24. This role involves outreach, intake, job placement, and supportive services to ensure participants achieve equitable career opportunities. The Case Manager will engage with various stakeholders, maintain compliance with regulations, and ensure participant retention through follow-up services.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outreach and intake assessments for new participants.
  • Maintain engagement with violence prevention counselors and support services.
  • Implement community-centered practices for marginalized communities.
  • Ensure compliance with WIOA and DOL regulations.
  • Manage daily participant flow and communication regarding work-based experiences.
  • Provide retention and follow-up services for participants for 12 months post-employment.
  • Maintain electronic and hard copy confidential files and data entry in CaseWorthy and GPMS.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and partner agencies for effective program delivery.
  • Develop employment plans and assist with resume building for participants.
  • Disseminate information about job fairs and events beneficial to participants.

Requirements

  • Associates of Arts Degree in a related field preferred (e.g., human services, social work).
  • 2 to 3 years of relevant experience with justice-involved youth.
  • Prior experience in Work-Based Experience Programs or apprenticeship programs preferred.
  • Demonstrate cultural competence in working with diverse populations.
  • Exceptional analytical, judgment, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Superior coaching, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in community outreach and engagement.
  • Knowledge of workforce development programs and services.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages.
