About the position
The Case Manager (Pre-litigation - Personal Injury) at Adamson Ahdoot, LLP is responsible for managing all aspects of personal injury claims during the pre-litigation phase. This role involves frequent client interaction, medical records management, and coordination with various departments to ensure superior client service. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in handling severe client injuries and large policy limits, and will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of organization and communication.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the PI claims in the pre-litigation phase
- Provide excellent and timely customer service to clients
- Actively medically manage each assigned matter with Attorney approval
- Gather all necessary documents for demand writing team and organize using CRM technology
- Assist and act as a liaison for other departments within the firm
- Provide support to the staff and Attorney with preparing breakdowns
- Handle a case load of 100+ files
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management and/or Team Leaders
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in Pre-litigation handling severe client injuries and large policy limits in a law firm setting
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Tech savvy and comfortable working in a paperless system
- Strong time management and attention to detail
- Exceptional organizational skills and effective oral and written communication skills
- 1-2 years of customer service experience
- 1-2 years of data entry experience
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Ability to handle high call volume - incoming and outgoing
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a medical office
- Previous experience with CRM software such as Salesforce preferred but not required
- Positive attitude, eagerness, and ability to learn new processes and technology
