About The Position

The Case Manager Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the delivery of services in assigned programs, ensuring compliance with program guidelines and funding source requirements. This role involves supervising staff, maintaining client safety, and providing direct services when necessary. The supervisor also participates in agency management meetings and promotes agency programs and services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in relevant fields from an accredited college or university.
  • Master's degree with at least two years of experience, or Bachelor's degree with at least four years of experience in human services or child welfare programs.
  • State of Florida Child Welfare Certification.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license with acceptable insurance coverage.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and data entry.

Responsibilities

  • Assist CQI in the development of agency documentation to enhance programming and ensure quality of service.
  • Attend court hearings, case reviews, staffing's, and meetings as needed.
  • Complete and submit performance appraisals in a timely manner.
  • Complete various outcome reports as required.
  • Conduct weekly unit meetings with staff.
  • Ensure adequate client contact is maintained according to program guidelines.
  • Ensure adherence to contractual obligations with the funding source.
  • Monitor child and client safety and respond appropriately to risks.
  • Handle client, staff, caretaker, and collateral complaints and grievances.
  • Manage a 24-hour on-call response system for referrals and emergencies.
  • Monitor program expenditures for budget compliance.
  • Oversee case responsibilities and provide guidance in case planning.
  • Participate in agency management meetings and public speaking engagements.
  • Provide direct service to children and families in the absence of assigned staff.
  • Train staff on therapeutic approaches and funding source policies.
  • Review intake information and determine referral acceptance.
  • Manage case assignments to maintain appropriate staff-to-client ratios.
  • Work with staff to ensure permanency for clients.
