About the position

The Case Manager Training and Development Specialist at Pinnacle Services is responsible for training Case Managers and Client Relation Coordinators, ensuring they understand the programs and contracts they work with. This role involves monitoring quality assurance, conducting audits, and providing ongoing training to maintain compliance with DHS standards. The specialist will also develop training materials, evaluate training effectiveness, and assist in the planning of department training events.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with training Case Managers and Client Relation Coordinators.
  • Monitor quality assurance to ensure DHS compliance.
  • Conduct audits of client files to ensure compliant paperwork is filed.
  • Evaluate and refine existing training courses based on feedback.
  • Research and update training materials to enhance training procedures.
  • Identify future training needs and create a curriculum for training.
  • Conduct orientation programs and arrange on-the-job training for new hires.
  • Develop and design training courses using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Audit current processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage and monitor employee training records and qualifications.

Requirements

  • At least six months of case management experience working with CADI, AC, EW, or DD waivers.
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or a closely related field.
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing responsibilities and circumstances.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform multiple tasks under limited supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Skills in data analysis and providing support for tracking key metrics.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with L&D technologies and multimedia authoring software.
  • Project management skills to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in instructional design and creating training programs.
