About the position

The Case Manager - Youth position is responsible for overseeing case management duties and delivering essential programs and services to clients at the House of Hope Emergency Shelter, Shelter Care, and Housing Stability programs. This role involves guiding interns and volunteers in providing effective services to clients, ensuring compliance with legal and grant requirements, and facilitating the success of youth in various life areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management activities and housing navigation for assigned clients.
• Conduct case meetings and oversee case plans as directed by the Director of Social Services.
• Collaborate with Advocates and the Lead Case Manager to plan, implement, administer, and evaluate direct client services.
• Ensure high-quality opportunities for youth in parenting, education, employment, and stable housing are regularly provided.

Requirements

• Experience in case management and service delivery to clients.
• Knowledge of housing navigation and related services.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and guide interns and volunteers.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with youth in crisis situations.
• Familiarity with legal rules and licensing requirements related to shelter services.
