About the position

At CWS, we are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of refugees, asylees, and unaccompanied children. Our mission is to provide essential services that ensure our clients achieve early employment and self-sufficiency. This position involves providing orientation and ongoing case management services to our clients in a timely and effective manner. You will play a crucial role in securing safe and sanitary housing for new arrivals, furnishing their apartments with food and donated items, and meeting them at the airport to transport them to their new homes. In addition to logistical support, you will provide cultural and program orientation to newly arrived clients, informing them of their rights and responsibilities, as well as the federal and local services available to them. Your responsibilities will include ongoing case management, referring clients to necessary health screenings, assisting with documentation such as Social Security cards, and coordinating with other staff for medical referrals and social services. You will also help clients enroll in core benefit services, assist with job placement and training, and document all service delivery activities in the clients' case files.
