About the position

The Case Manager at VisionQuest plays a vital role in supporting children through the reunification or repatriation process. This position involves assessing the needs of each child, coordinating with various stakeholders, and advocating for their rights and well-being. The Case Manager ensures compliance with regulations while providing compassionate guidance to children and their families.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the comprehensive management of case services, ensuring adherence to protocols for evaluations and screenings.
• Maintain meticulous documentation to guarantee compliance with VisionQuest, State, and Federal regulations.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of reports and deliverables according to ORR guidelines.
• Maintain ongoing communication with ORR for safe and timely child release.
• Coordinate with local pro bono attorneys for timely provision of 'Know Your Rights' presentations to children.
• Ensure timely travel arrangements for children post-case approval.
• Document all case management actions and communications as required by ORR.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences, human services, or social services fields.
• A minimum of one year of related work experience, preferably in child welfare or case management.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license and eligibility to drive for program services.

Nice-to-haves

• Child welfare and/or case management experience is strongly encouraged.
• ORR Case Management experience is highly preferred.
