About the position
The Case Manager position involves performing social service work with a focus on providing skills training to clients. Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group skills training sessions according to the Texas Resilience and Recovery model.
- Perform routine and crisis screenings to assess the need for psychiatric hospitalization.
- Authorize and oversee services provided to clients.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of authorized services.
- Maintain certification for the State approved Uniform Assessment for Adults or Child/Youth within 90 days of hire.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, or a related field.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
- Must become certified to complete the State approved Uniform Assessment within 90 days of hire.
