About the position

The Residential Case Manager at Bob's House of Hope is responsible for providing direct care and individualized case management services to male survivors of sex trafficking. This role emphasizes trauma-informed care, safety, and empowerment, helping residents achieve their personal goals in a supportive residential environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide trauma-informed case management for in-house and previous residents, helping survivors work toward their personal, educational, legal, and health-related goals.
  • Collaborate closely with the House Manager on resident activities, appointments, and goal planning.
  • Track, document, and report on resident progress in areas such as mental health, legal matters, education, and physical health.
  • Monitor resident safety, well-being, and engagement in the program.
  • Enforce BHOH policies, procedures, and safe house rules to ensure a secure and supportive environment.
  • Address daily operational needs, including crisis intervention, providing resources, coordinating referrals, transporting residents, and overseeing daily schedules.
  • Serve as a liaison for residents with medical and psychiatric professionals, maintaining records of medication adherence and managing refills.
  • Maintain comprehensive and confidential records for all residents.
  • Gather and compile program data for reporting and performance management.
  • Schedule and manage resident appointments, sending reminders as needed.
  • Conduct intake for new residents and manage discharge procedures for those leaving the program.
  • Assist with on-call responsibilities and staffing needs as required.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by SAM, ED, or CEO.

Requirements

  • Experience in trauma-informed case management, residential care, or working with survivors of human trafficking or abuse preferred.
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and crisis management skills.
  • Empathy and professionalism when working with vulnerable populations.
  • Familiarity with documentation and tracking client progress.
