About the position

The Caseworker II at Parkview Health is responsible for providing a range of services to clients of all ages, including monitoring and supportive interventions. This role involves collaborating with treatment teams, communicating client progress, and responding to crises. The Caseworker will also participate in developing and implementing treatment plans, conducting home visits, and liaising with community resources and school systems as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Provide monitoring and supportive intervention to clients of all ages.
  • Communicate client progress and issues to the treatment team and family members.
  • Arrange and provide transportation services for clients when needed.
  • Respond to crisis calls and provide crisis intervention in consultation with the treatment team.
  • Participate in the development of treatment plans for assigned clients.
  • Carry out treatment plans through home visits and community liaisons.
  • Work with school systems as needed to support clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, human services, or a related field.
  • Valid state driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Proof of auto insurance.
  • CPR certification required within 30 days of employment.
  • At least one year of experience in a mental health environment.
