About the position

The Caseworker/Rehab Recovery position focuses on providing crisis prevention and management, monitoring, assessment, and rehabilitative skills training for adults with mental illness. The role involves coordinating services to help individuals achieve a better quality of life and community participation, addressing deficits in social relationships, occupational or educational achievement, and independent living skills due to severe and persistent mental illness.

Responsibilities

  • Provide crisis prevention and management for adults with mental illness.
  • Conduct monitoring and assessment of clients' needs.
  • Deliver rehabilitative skills training to clients.
  • Coordinate service planning and access appropriate medical, social, and educational services.
  • Work as part of a therapeutic team to address clients' deficits in social relationships and independent living skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Behavioral, Social Science, Humanities, or Education field.
  • Experience working with individuals with mental illness.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Credentialing as a Qualified Mental Health Professional.
  • Experience with Adult Needs and Strengths Assessment (ANSA) certification.
  • Experience with Illness Management and Recovery (IMR) certification.
