About the position

As a Cash Accountant at Fabletics, you will play a crucial role in managing daily banking and cash applications within a high-volume e-commerce accounting environment. This position involves handling various General Ledger responsibilities and providing accurate financial data to organizational leaders for informed decision-making. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced settings and is detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Process daily wire activity in the online banking system, ensuring accuracy of disbursements.
• Prepare and facilitate weekly and monthly cash reporting, including outstanding checks and daily cash receipts for all entities.
• Prepare monthly general ledger reconciliation schedules by reviewing general ledger activity and understanding account activity to support month-end reported balances.
• Assist with financial and tax audits as necessary.
• Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls.
• Conduct ad hoc reporting and other projects as assigned.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in Accounting, Payables, and/or Finance.
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent.
• Experience with Oracle ERP is a plus.
• Proven success in cash application accounting within a high-volume multi-entity/multi-business unit organization.
• Deep knowledge of Excel, able to manipulate large datasets using advanced functions.
• Strong understanding of accounting theory (e.g., GAAP).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus.
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies.
• Self-starter with the ability to act independently to accomplish objectives.
• Demonstrated passion for detail orientation and organization.
• Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office applications.
