About the position
The Cash Application Coordinator at Builders FirstSource is responsible for managing customer cash applications, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring accurate payment processing. This role primarily supports the accounts receivable function and requires collaboration with various departments to address issues effectively. The position offers a remote work opportunity with initial onsite training in the Dallas, TX area.
Responsibilities
- Processes payments matched to correct customers and proper general ledger accounts.
- Resolves issues with customer cash application by understanding the issue, researching potential drivers, and identifying potential solutions.
- Acts as a partner to Credit, Operations, and Sales by quickly bringing issues to their attention and working with them to understand the cause of the problem.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Two (2) years of accounts receivable or credit experience or a comparable combination of experience and education.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
